Background of Company

Alberta-based Parkhurst, is the General Partner for various structured private real estate investments in multi-family, retail, and commercial income-producing properties on behalf of its growing investor base and distributes profits according to their proportional holdings.

History

Parkhurst was incorporated in 2009 and began acquisitions in 2010. Lead by an asset management team with over 10 years of experience and an average compound annual return of over 17% since the year 2000, Parkhurst was started to take advantage of attractive buying opportunities available now in Alberta’s multi-family apartment & retail commercial sectors.

Protection

Limited Partnership structures provide protection for investors (limited partners).   This limits the liability of the individual investors to the amount of their investment.  In addition, we provide you with quarterly reporting, annual financial statements, and an investment mandate that add additional protection for investors. These include, among others, a restriction on debt levels of 75%, a focus on properties that produce a positive cash-flow, and a system of checks and balances to manage price and interest rate fluctuations.

Reduced Liability

Parkhurst’s unique structure protects investors from legal liability and responsibility for mortgages, and investors cannot be called upon for more than their original investment.
