John Carter – Principal and CEO

John Carter is a founding Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Parkhurst Asset Corp. He is responsible for managing the assets of Parkhurst in line with its investment mandates. He sources, evaluates, and acquires target properties and oversees asset management once they are acquired.

John has over 10 years of experience managing his personal portfolio of apartment buildings as well as a number of joint venture holdings, and has done so successfully through all market cycles. He is proud to be part owner of one of the largest and most productive real estate brokerages in Edmonton, Alberta. Since 2002 he has transacted business volume with clients and his personal portfolio of over $70,000,000.

John was born in Victoria, BC and moved to Edmonton, AB where he attended Business School at the University of Alberta and subsequently received a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge.  He is based in Toronto, ON and with offices in Edmonton, AB as well.

In addition to spending quality time with close friends and family, John enjoys regular world travel, mountain biking, basketball, golf, and multiple water sports. Andrew Zuyderduyn – Investor Relations

Andrew Zuyderduyn is an original founding Principal and Investor Relations for Western Canada.  Andrew is responsible for the investor relations and capital-raising functions of Parkhurst.

Andrew has over 10 years of experience in the wealth and risk management industry. He specializes in creating and managing private investment opportunities that add value over traditional investments. Andrew is skilled at building financial models and legal structures that protect investors, and he prides himself on his ability to make difficult financial concepts simple for the average person.

Andrew was born in Vancouver, BC, and has spent most of his life in Alberta, both Calgary & Edmonton. Using the experience he earned while working for a boutique wealth management firm in Edmonton, he has gained the respect and trust of clients who continue to look to him for financial guidance and education.

He enjoys playing golf, dining with friends and clients, and long distance running. Andrew regularly visits family and friends on the west coast of British Columbia, Oregon, and southern California. Rick Purdy – Investor Relations & Acquisitions

Rick Purdy is the Edmonton, AB based Investor Relations contact for Parkhurst Asset Corp. He is responsible for investor relations and capital-raising functions of Parkhurst, as well as sourcing of properties.

Rick’s business background is extensive, and diverse, but always with the philosophy that successes are found in relationships with people. Throughout his career he has worked in consumer product marketing, renovations, small business ownership, technology investing and many other areas through venture capital investment. “Good ideas fail in the hands of poor management.  Alliances crumble when the people involved lose sight of the greater purpose.”  Since 2002 Rick’s background in real estate investment has led to over $50,000,000 in transacted properties and successful joint ventures.

Born in the smaller community of Rimby, AB he has lived throughout Alberta, including Red Deer, Calgary and currently makes his home in Edmonton.

All who know Rick know he has a genuine and enthusiastic passion for life. Among many passions, he is greatly involved with his Church, often traveling the world to help others in various ways. He enjoys reading, self-improvement, exercise and fitness, health, world travel, coffee, and being the kind of person that people can turn to when they are looking for help or support to be successful.
